The Holy Spirit!

On Friday(11/20/2009) morning, God spoke to me in a dream. He said, “ Speaking in tongue, is connecting with the supernatural.” I began blasting into tongues immediately I opened my eyes (I love speaking in unknown tongues frequently).

Tongue-speaking is a gift,It can’t be learned (1 Cor 12:10). When you become a born-again Christian, the Holy Spirit take abode inside of you. It takes stirring the Spirit of God up through speaking in tongues to connect with the supernatural. When you are connected to the supernatural, you perform supernatural things. You perform things that a beyond human comprehension.

When you speak in tongues, you speak mysteries. Bishop Abioye said, “ You need mysteries to tackle mysteries.” Tongue-speaking is mystery-speaking. When you burst out in tongues, you bastardized any evil mysteries the devil is planning on you way.

Jesus said in John 15: 26, “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.” The Holy Spirit is our helper in every areas of life. We need the Holy Spirit to function adequately. Without Him, the struggle continues. When you burst out in tongues in the time of confusion and frustration, He will come to rescue you. If you don’t know where next to go, when you are tied up, engage Him and He will rescue you.

Those who are in the spirit will attract the presence of the Holy Spirit. It takes joy and singing praises to God to have the Holy Spirit working in you. You will never find the Holy Spirit in a place where there is sadness and mourning. If the Holy Spirit leaves, shame and reproach will come in as visitors. No Christian must do without Him.


Who is the Holy Spirit?
1.He’s the Comforter ( John 16:17). He extends peace to you like a river.
2.The Holy Spirit is One of the God-head. We have God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit- there are three are one (1 John 5: 7) .

What does the Holy Spirit do?
1.The Holy Spirit reveals the promises of God to you. The Word of God is God’s promise. When you eat the Word raw, the Spirit reminds you of them and it takes releasing the Word concerning any situation to see victory.
2.The Holy Spirit reveals secrets. There is nothing hidden before Him. No wonder the bible says in 1 Cor 2 : 9-10,

“But as it is written: ‘ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’[c]

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things,
yes, the deep things of God. ”

We need divine revelation to survive in this world. God is the creator of Heaven and Earth and all that dwells in it. He created principalities and powers and He knows how they operate. If the Creator of all these things doesn’t reveals their plans to us, how are we going to survive? We need God in order to excel and flourish. Jesus came down to die for you and I and He has sent the Spirit to be our Helper. No one can escape the holocaust of life without the Holy Spirit.

He’s a good Friend. Don’t joke with Him, don’t make Him angry by your ungodliness. He is too holy to behold unrighteous. The Holy Spirit is God.

His Favor Is Forever Sure!

Hmmm, the scripture cannot be broken (John 10:35). Of a truth, God surrounds His children with favor like a shield. God has done it again. He has favored me and my sister one more time. When all doors seems closed, God made a way where there seems to be no way.

My sister and I will be taking a trip to Nigeria for the annual Shiloh event of the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel. It was difficult to secure an hotel because the whole world will be gathering for this life changing event. We do not want to go back and forth from home so we thought it wise to book an hotel for the 5 days event. The news was finally broken to us a couple of days ago that we have no rooms to book-we were devastated.

God is faithful! God brought out a man to secure a hotel room for us without paying a dime. We wanted to reimburse him but he refused bluntly.

Hmmm...God is great! God is faithful! He will never ever disappoint His own.

May I say this to the man God has used, “ God will bless you for blessing us, Amen.”

My Testimony!

" When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream.

This is the summary of my testimony. God has turned my story around spiritually, maritally, financially and in all areas. He has lifted me beyond my imagination.

Everything is like a dream of the night to me. He has dazed me. He has suprised me. Praise the Lord! No matter how hard it gets, the righteous will always excel. I have excelled

I have escaped. My soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and I have escaped.

Blessed be the Lord God of Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Enoch Adeboye, David Oyedepo and David Abioye.

Give Him His Food!

A person of praise is a person of honor. When you honor God with praise, He makes men honor you. Whatever you do to Him, He does back to you. If you want to be a person of honor, honor Him with praise.

David, the king of Israel praised God more than he prayed unto Him. He said,” Seven times I praise You because of your righteous judgment…Psalm 119:164” No wonder King David had no equal. He never lost a battle during his reign as the King of Israel. Those who know how to praise God from the depth of their hearts will always win in every areas of their lives.

I remember back in the days when I saw Praise session as an activity in Church. To me, singing praises was to while away the time and also to feel good. I was oblivious to the fact that you praise God to lift Him up. You praise God to worship His majesty. You praise God for who He is and for His Word. Halleluyah! Glory to God that the story has changed with me. My mindset has been transformed and I'm now enjoying the benefit of praising my God.

Praise is not optional but it's mandatory. You don’t always have to feel like it but you just must praise Him. The book of Psalm 150 :1-6 attest to it. As long as the is breath in you, you must praise Him. In spite of what you are going through, you must praise Him. Abraham went through a prolonged childlessness but that didn’t stop Him from praising God ( Gen 14:22 ).

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to bow to any other gods but the Most High God. They said, “ O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up ( Daniel 3:16-18). Can you see that? Oh my God! Regardless of the fiery furnace fire, they refused to bow and the faithful God rescued and honor them with excellence ( Daniel 3: 19-25) . The whole world will celebrate your God when His praise is continually in your lips. The King changed his mind when he saw the acts of God in the lives of the 3 Hebrew boys. He joined to celebrate their God. Nebuchadnezzar said in the book of Daniel 3:26-30, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.
Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel[b] and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”
Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego in the province of Babylon ”

Praise gives birth to promotion. Your praise will skyrocket you to a place of envy. Give it to Him. He requires nothing from you and I but our praise.

The reason why many don’t praise Him is because they don’t know Him. You can’t know Him without praising Him. It takes your redemption in Christ to enjoy the benefit of His praise. Give Him your heart. Give Him His praise and He will give you excellence.

NO SUBSTITUTE FOR DIVINE GUIDANCE!

Glory to God for yet another day. I got this Christian article not quite long so I figure that I have to share this wonderful message with you. This is by Bishop David Abioye, The Vice President of The Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winner Chapel Nigeria. He's cureeently the Senior Pastor of the WInners Chapel Abuja, Nigeria. NO SUBSTITUTE FOR DIVINE GUIDANCE!

Life is so complicated that you cannot afford to live on guess work. Except you are divinely guided you can not escape frustration because our world today is so full of confusion, but when you are guided from above you will certainly be above.

Every destiny thrives on divine guidance. For instance, when there was famine in the days of Isaac, he was guided by the Lord and in one year he got such wonderful profit that made him the envy of the Philistines. "...The man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great" (Gen 26:13). Only the guided end up as the greatest.

However, it is the Holy Spirit that baptizes the believer into the realm of divine guidance, that is His special mission towards us. Jesus said, "Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth is come, He will guide you into all truth..." (John 16:13). The word 'guide' means to be well ordered. So, when the Holy Spirit is guiding you, your affairs, steps and utterances would be well ordered by the Lord.

So, expertise is never a substitute for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Exposure is not! How far and wide you have traveled around the world, how enlightened or experienced you are can not substitute the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Having the best of equipment in your establishment is not enough! The Bible says, "How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!" (1 Sam. 31:27). Only the guidance of the Holy Spirit is error-free.

Money can not take the place of divine guidance. One wrong step is enough for an enterprise of a lifetime to crumble in one day, and great assets would be washed down the drain. This is why we must be keen to receive guidance from the Lord. Life is too short for you to keep experimenting with it!

The Bible says, "There is a way that seemeth right to a man but the end thereof are the ways of death" (Proverbs 16:25). What seems to be right should not be concluded as the right step to take because a good idea cannot equal God's idea. You may have good business proposals, job opportunities, etc, but is it divinely ordered? Is it directed and instructed by the Lord? No matter how good an opportunity might appear, it must still be presented to the Holy Spirit for verification to ensure that it is within your God ordained jurisdiction because that is where His Grace will work for you. If you go where God has not sent you, you are bound to suffer afflictions. Please appreciate the fact that every man has a jurisdiction so you must line up with the Holy Spirit to guide you within your jurisdiction in order to attain God's best for your life. From this day, you shall suffer no more loses! Now call for the help of the Holy Spirit for your guidance.
Meditate on this: Isaiah 48:17, 55:8-9

Bishop David Oyedepo- God's Prophet!

Oh Jesus! It has finally happened. My long awaited miracles has finally come. I'm sure I told you all about the North America Winners Convention 2009 that will be holding. I've been attending the Convention since Wednesday. God's presence has taken absolute control. I wish you were all there to see the total deliverance of mankind from all oppression of wickedness and darkness through the Word of God. People came from far and near to partake of this glorious convention which started on Wednesday (21st) till Saturday (24th).

God has used Bishop David Oyedepo, Bishop David Abioye and other annoited ministers of God mightily. I'm looking forward to be there again as early as possible today because all Ushers has to be present an hour before service starts at 6 pm.

God has sent His messanger to go ahead and prepare the way for His coming. The book of Malachi 3:1 states,

" Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me.
And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple,
Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight.
Behold, He is coming, Says the LORD of hosts "

Halleluyah! He sent Moses ahead to Egypt for the deliverance of the Israelites from 400 years of slavery. He sent Elijah to rescue the widow of Zarephath from death. He spoiled barreness by sending Elisha ahead of the Shunammite woman. God has sent Bishop David Oyedepo to us in the United States for our liberation. I know the state of New York will not remain the same. I know that America will not remain the same. I know that I will not remain the same. Infact, It's impossible for me to remain the same. I changed level the moment I set my feet in Santuary on Wednesday. God has sent His messanger to me- my Prophet, Bishop David Oyedepo.

Courtship 103

The greatest mistake a person can make is to choose a wrong spouse.Choosing a wrong spouse is a bite from a Cobra. Its venom wont just blind you but will kill you. We have been made to understand that approximately 75 % of people receiving a bite from a cobra snake will eventually die from the medical complications arising from the bite. A wrong choice is death to the spirit. A majority of people are suffering today for the wrong choice they made yesterday. Don’t do it! It’s a destiny killer. Picking a wrong spouse speaks death and destruction.

Some curious people might say , “Why is she talking like this? Is she a victim?” Hmm,,,I will be glad to give you an answer. No. I’m not a victim but I was an inch away from settling down with the wrong person. I thought deeply and made up my mind to cut off the relationship. When you stop thinking, you will start sinking. Most people are engulfed with the fun of today that they have sold their tomorrow for Pottage. Ask Esau, he’s in the best position to tell you. Do you remember that he sold his birthright to Jacob for Bread and Pottage (Gen 35: 29-34)? What a pity!

Please don’t sell your destiny for the deceit of the Devil. It good to enjoy the fun and grace the present has to offer but a vision into the future is glorious. I decided to take a thought trip into the future and I said to myself,” If I continue in this relationship, there will be a divorce in future.” It didn’t take me long to arrive at a decision that will catapult me into a flourishing destiny. I broke off the connection. I ran for my dear life .

Was the present with the person good? Yes it was. Then why do you have to leave? For the plan and purpose of God for my life to be fulfilled.

Praise God! Halleluyah! I ran for my dear life in spite of pleas. I thank God every moment for giving me a brain. May I say this? Some of things that are happening to us does not require prayers. Most of them require a deep thought. Lack of knowledge is destroying a majority of people. God hasn’t given us our brain for decoration-we need to make use of it now. Heir of Salvation, I can now join the psalmist to say ,

“My soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and I have escaped….124:7”

Seek God’s mind before you make a move. Remember that His thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways are higher than our ways (Isa 55:9). God is your Creator-He knows what is best for you.

I thank God for my new beginning. He has proved Himself faithful to me and He will do the same for you. My God will settle you in you own land.

The Big Big God!

I worship a big big God. He's the Creator of heaven and earth. In less than a day, He created Man. He created the whole Universe in less than a week. He parted the Red sea by the breathe from His nostrils just for His people to cross over. He became the fourth Man in the Furnace Fire. He rescued His son from the mouth of a Lion. He bastardized science by giving Issac to Abraham and Sarah at their old age. He's the big God who break protocols for the establishment of His Word. No wonder the bible says,

" Heaven and earth will pass away,but My words will by no means pass
away........Luke 24.33 "

" The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands
forever....Isa 40:8 "

" For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged
sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and
marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart..Heb 4:12"

" So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me
void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing
for which I sent it. ..Isa 55:11 "

Hmmm... Glory to the Most High God. The Big God brings peace that no one can explain. He is truly a remarkable God. My Life is living proof.

JESUS - the gift that perfectly fits the size of every heart

Please READ these testimonies given by the General Overseer (GO) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and PRAY accordingly!!! Be blessed as you read.

(GO) A woman brought her child. That child will probably be between 9 and 10. And said this child had never spoken before “please pray for this child. (GO) I laid my hand on this child and I said, In the Name of Jesus and the child said 'Amen!' I have not prayed yet! I just said: In the Name of Jesus! And the child that had never spoken before said 'Amen! I nearly jumped out of the window. The mother was on the floor rolling! That kind of miracle that will make you roll on the ground for joy God will give you this year! (Amen!)

(GO) Once upon a time when I was a lecturer in one University I won't mention which one; there was a particular man who was not promoted for 12 years because somebody hid his file. But when his time came there was a change of Head of Department and the new Head of Department said I want to see the file of everybody in my Department. They searched and searched until finally they dug it out where somebody hid it. Your file that had been hidden by the enemy shall be brought out this year. (Amen!) And they discovered this man should have been promoted at least twice and they gave him double promotion.


(GO) I was invited to Port Harcourt , Nigeria ... Full Gospel Business men had a program, they asked me to come and preach. When I finished the first preaching that night one man came and said sir, my wife is sick, in hospital; please could you come and pray for her. So we made arrangement for the following day. The following day we went there. The wife had been completely helpless on the sick bed, she could not even turn but I prayed for her and the one who had not been able to even talk escorted me to the door! I didn't come to Port Harcourt for this man! I came for a program, heaven was just passing by and this man tapped into it! Heaven is passing by tonight, somebody is going to tap into it and your sickness will disappear. If you believe that let me hear you say 'Amen!' (Amen!)

(GO) A sister came to one of the Programs in Ebute Metta, Lagos years ago, and the Word came just as it is coming now that there is a sister whose mother didn't want her to marry. That if the mother does not release her, Mama herself will be buried within 7 days. A Word just came like that and I announced it. I don't know which sister was concerned. The following day the sister came with the mother. The mother was very furious. That's the way you stupid prophets spoil the head of our girls, telling my daughter that I will die because I didn't allow her to marry. I said me? Sister Did I say that? She said the prophecy that came yesterday. What God said is that there is a sister here Did I mention your name? I said Mama don't mind her, nobody mentioned her name!! She was just claiming what is not her own. The mother said, oh-oh is that so? She said, all right.. She asked the lady to go out and the lady went out and she said Pastor, but is it true that the mother will die? I said I'm not talking about you oh I'm not talking about you, but what God told me is going to come to pass, so if you are the one and I'm not saying it is you before the week runs out whoever it is, is going to be buried. Ehhhh, I'm not asking her not to marry but who is going to take care of me after. I said Mama that's simple; I can tell her and tell the husband to take good care of you. I will make them promise. That's if she can marry. Within 6 months, this girl who was almost 40 years old and nobody had looked in her direction before there is somebody here today, anybody who says you will not marry will not see the end of the Year because loneliness must end!



(GO) I went to visit a family and at that time I didn't know that the woman of the house was a number one witch and that she had reached an agreement with her husband in the spirit realm that of every two children born one will die one will survive. And there was this little girl that she had given birth to. She was one of those that were to die. In fact that was the day that the girl was to die. We didn't know at that time so we went there to greet the family and as I was about to leave that girl stretched forward towards me. She was at the back of the mother stretched out, stretched towards me in such a manner as I had not option other than to carry the child. We were to learn later that this child never, never allows anyone else to carry her. But something told the girl, you are dying today unless just stretched towards me so I carried the girl and I prayed. I didn't know what I was doing: Father bless this child, keep sickness away from her, keep death away from this child. And the yoke was broken! It wasn't long after that when the mother began to confess: I killed this one, I killed this one, I killed this one, I killed this one . the day I was to kill this one he this troublesome pastor came by and took the child from me. Today every one of you that the enemy had decided death for I cancel that one in Jesus' Name! (Amen!)



(GO) There's a young man that had been coming from America again and again to testify. When I first met him, old as he was, he was always weeping like a baby. He's married; he's got children but he's always weeping! My wife used to say before you begin to weep again – don't start oh! Because he had known so much sorrow. The father left home when he was a child , one sorrow after the other but now it is one miracle after the other. He was telling his church people, because he's a Pastor, he said, some how since I met Pastor Adeboye it's one miracle after the other! One miracle after the other!



(GO) We went to a Holy Ghost Service in Kaduna , Nigeria and I wanted to go to the toilet while the choir was singing and there was this brother who was an usher standing somewhere near the toilet. So he greeted me and I shook hands with him. I didn't know he was rejoicing. So I went to the toilet. Apparently he has told the other ushers. he shook my hand, he shook my hand! When I was coming back there were about half a dozen of them! So I shook hands with them. I didn't know that one of them had received one before he shook my hand the second time and he put his hand in his pocket. He got home and he told the wife who had been barren for years bring your stomach, the GO shook my hand 2 times! 9 months later the baby came. Your hands will be blessed tonight! (Amen!) I say Your hands will be blessed tonight! (Amen!)

Get Angry!

Now, let's read this article. God will open your eyes of understanding as you read on.

" GET ANGRY!
Bishop David Abioye.

In First Samuel chapter 9, we find the story of a young man called Saul who was searching for his father’s lost asses. In the process he encountered Samuel the prophet and Samuel began to reveal to him, God’s plan for his life; how that God was going to make him the captain and leader of His people, Israel. When Saul heard it he said, “Am not I a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin…” (1 Samuel 9:21). In other words Saul was saying, “I am not qualified.” But after he was anointed, “God gave him another heart…” And from that moment his language changed.

When the Ammonites came against one of the tribes of Israel to take them as slaves and Saul heard of it, the Bible says, “…The Spirit of God came upon Saul…and his anger was kindled greatly” (1 Sam. 11:6). Saul, who used to be jelly-like, now became a lion heart. He led three thousand men to war and the tribe of Israel that was about to be captured by the Ammonites, was delivered. The spirit of courage came upon him and his heart become like that of a lion that turneth not away from any.

Take note of the phrase, “…His anger was kindled greatly.” You see, there is a time in your life when you need to be angry. God is not against your anger. The Bible says, “Be angry but sin not” (Ephesians 4:26). That means anger is permitted when it is necessary. You must be angry with your situation, because if you don’t create a reaction there cannot be a motion. For how long will sickness continue to hold you down? You have 5 children and all of them are getting sick in rotation. You need to get angry and tell satan, “Enough is enough!”

“…The Spirit of God came upon Saul…and his anger was kindled greatly” The spirit of courage is instigated when you react to negative situations around you. It was that spirit that came upon Elijah when he called down the fire of the Lord on mountain Carmel. It was that same spirit that enabled him to kill 450 prophets of baal. You need a measure of anger to be able to possess your possession. You are looking too gentle for the enemy, you are compromising and negotiating too much! You need a degree of anger to be free from oppression.

You know, satan has a way of knowing when you are spiritually charged and when you are cold, he can sense it. He knows when to touch you and when to stay off, because as mad as he is, he can’t see fire and go close to it. Have you ever seen a mad man walk into fire, or refuse to leave the way for a fast moving vehicle? Even in his madness, he knows how to safeguard his life. In the same way, satan knows his limit around you. When your anger is kindled and the spirit of courage is upon you and you begin to take steps contrary to your situation, he will flee from you.

Meditate on these: James 4:7, Zechariah 3:16 "

Get Understanding...Very Very Necessary!

It's good to read. The reason why most people are sinking is because they have stopped learning. The bible says in Proverb 4:7 , "In all your getting, get understanding." Daniel understood by books (Dan 9:2). Start today!

by putting God's power to work for you.

God doesn't want you to be sick...or to have any financial, emotional, social, spiritual or physical problem;
but you've got to learn to do things His way!

* After you worship and praise God, you have the right to ask Him for any-
thing.

* If you'll make up your mind, once and for all, that the life is in the
Word of God, you won't have to suffer any longer.

* Your body doesn't care what God tells you. It will rise up and demand
what it's craving. You have to tell your body to obey God's Word!

* Your faith can work for your children and for your spouse.

* Many good Christians have died before their time. They believed in God
and loved Him, but they didn't believe God scripturally.

* If you have the Word of God in your heart and if you know how to say
what God says in His Word, God will send you on a mission to do things
for Him to cause people to live and not die.

Glory to God, I'm sure you will agree with me that we all need to have this wonderful book.

The Titanic!

The ship ‘Titanic’ was built with about 7.5 million dollars by over 3,000 men and it took 3 years to build. The builders built it to be unsinkable and it was also a luxury ship.

Psalm 127:1
“Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”

Thomas Andrew the builder of Titanic said that "nothing can sink the ship, not even GOD "
Can you imagine the man said all of those? He wasn’t there when the spirit of God was hovering over the water. Except we acknowledge Him in our affairs ,businesses and relationships we all labor in vain .Technology can fail anytime but God stands sure forever. We should not be like people of the world who thinks that their effort brought them success. We should learn to acknowledge Him for what we are. He is indeed our Creator .

Those people who perished with the ship were wealthy people who wanted to be the 1st to enter the ‘Titanic’ but most of them died and their bodies couldn’t be found till today. The ship sunk and Andrew, the builder sunk with it . He considered everything perfect without God and GOD showed up .

See you manifesting as you acknowledge God in all your doing."

I Saw A Vision!

What has never happened before happened like 45 mins ago. During a 2 hrs praises and worship to God between 1.44 am -3.45am, God opened my eyes to see an open vision. A vision that involves my sister and I. I will share at a later date.

The Lord of Lords, the I Am that I Am ,the Ancient of days,the King of Kings, The Almighty God, the mighty One in battle, the Banner over us, the great deliverer, the great provider, the Prince of peace, the Most High God, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Unchangeable Lord has covered me with Blood of the everlasting covenant.

I have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ. I am too blessed to be grounded.

Why Worry?

Can't you see that it is done already?
Why worry?
You wont lay hold on that blessing until you get rid of worry. Worrying wont just age you but it will also destroy your life. Engage in worry and you will lose that glorious destiny. If satan can get you to worry over your situation, then he has overcome.

How Do I Overcome Worry?

Your don't overcome worry with prayer, rather you kill it by faith. When satan threathens you, don't keep quiet! Speak out in faith! Do as Psalm 81:10 has commanded, " I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. "

So, anytime worry tries to creep in, declare God's Word with boldness. David killed Goliath with his declaration of faith (I sam 17:46). Joshua and Caleb entered the Promised Land through their declaration of faith (Number 13:30).

Your greatest enemy is Worry. It takes your declaration of God's Word through faith to disarm your enemy.

Egypt: Not A Place Of Envy!

There is calamity in Egypt. There are reproach, stagnation, frustration, sadness, mockery, lamentation, destruction and curses in Egypt. Egypt is not place to be- It’s not a place of envy a place of eternal damnation (Ezek 30: 4). A majority of the people or if not all hate to experience the death Egypt carries but it’s sad to let you know that almost everyone has become a citizen of Egypt.

The sins of mankind has forcefully made them her citizen. The people of Israelites became slaves in the hand of Potiphar for over 400 years You can see this in Exodus 12: 40, “ Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt”. Hmm…the people of Israelites would have died in Egypt If God had not raised Moses for their rescue. God sent a Sheppard to rescue the Sheep from the Wolves. May I say this to some proud people who don't believe in God’s anointed servants? Most believe that they can be their own prophets…that’s a lie from the pit of hell. Until you are tied to whom God has sent your way, your damnation is inevitable. God has anointed His servants for our rescue. Moses was sent for the rescue of the Israelites in Egypt (Exo 3:10). God sent Elijah for the rescue of the widow of Zarephath (1 kings 17: 8-16). The Most High God destroyed bareness by sending Elisha to the Shunamite woman ( 2 Kings 4: 8-37). Who has gone sent your way? Who is your Pastor? I know mine and it very important to recognize yours. May God help you.

Egypt is not a chosen place by God. I know some people who are ready to contend the Word might say, “ Is she referring to the nation of Egypt in this continent? Is she condemning my home land, Egypt? “ Well I am not, I’m simply referring to the Egypt in the Bible. So let no one raise eyebrows.

Egypt is not a place destined for you and I. God is ready to bring us out of there if we are so determined to leave. The Israelites left Egypt when their minds were prepared for liberation. God heard their cry for deliverance and He sent His messenger ahead for their liberation ( Exodus 3: 7-9) Until you make a choice to leave the cursed land, you will die in shame and reproach. Egypt is a cursed land. Do you remember the story of Adam and Eve? They disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit. Sin is a forbidden fruit that we all but abstain from. Sin is a curse: Sin will make you a citizen of Egypt. God placed a curse on mankind when sin was allowed. You can see this in Gen 3:13-19,

“13 And the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”
The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

14 So the LORD God said to the serpent:
“ Because you have done this,
You are cursed more than all cattle,
And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you shall go,
And you shall eat dust
All the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”

16 To the woman He said:
“I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception;
In pain you shall bring forth children;
Your desire shall be for your husband,
And he shall rule over you.”

17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’:
“ Cursed is the ground for your sake;
In toil you shall eat of it
All the days of your life.
18 Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you,
And you shall eat the herb of the field.
19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread
Till you return to the ground,
For out of it you were taken;
For dust you are,
And to dust you shall return.”

Wow! Children of God, it took disobedience to be cursed and it will also take obedience to erase the curse. Your obedience to His Word will cancel all curses. What a good news! It will take redemption to erase these curses from your life. Jesus has come to die for our sins and we have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. The book of Colossians 1 : 13-14 will buttress my point. It reads,

“ He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”Glory to God for the love of Jesus. Isn’t God mighty and merciful? He’s the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He’s forever faithful and full of compassion. How happy it is to have a loving Father. John 3: 16-17 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

Accept Him into your live today because tomorrow may be too late. He has come once as a Lamb but his 2nd coming will be as a Lion. He came the 1st time to die for us all but His 2nd coming will be to judge the world. Accept Him now.

How To Escape The Trap Of Offenses!

One of the cheapest ways out of offenses is thankfulness. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." God's will for you is to always give thanks, despite what is happening, what has happened or not happened in your life. When you find yourself in a situation that you can't explain and you don't know what next to do, give thanks to God. Make thanksgiving your lifestyle because that is one thing you can't do wrongly. I have gone through many situations in life but I have never been moved to ask God, "Why?" That question is too big for my mouth. I would rather give Him thanks and allow the situation to explain itself later. God does not owe me any explanations for whatever happens in my life, rather I owe Him all the thanks for the numerous privileges He has given me. So, thanksgiving makes you immune to frustrations; you are just happy and satisfied with God at all times.

Secondly you must avoid comparisons. Don't compare your life with others because everybody is on a separate track, God takes us through different routes to get us to our glorious destinies. There are many people who take steps or do things in life just because someone else is doing it. That is not the way to live! If you are always comparing yourself with others and using other people's lives as the yardstick for your own progress, you will constantly be under pressure. And when you can't catch up with them, you will become offended and may even break down under the weight of the stain. You don't need all of that! Can you imagine somebody labouring day and night to buy a car, not necessarily because he needs but because his friends and neighbours are riding cars? Please avoid such pressures, don't die before your time! Stop the game of comparison!

Thirdly, learn to rejoice with the joyful. When you see somebody making progress in life, rejoice with him, go and congratulate him. Anybody you can't congratulate, there is every likelihood that you will backbite him. So to avoid envy, openly congratulate your neighbor for whatever he is celebrating. His success is not the reason you are not making it. The fact that another person is blessed is not the reason you are not blessed, your own package is waiting for you but it may never reach your hand until you begin to rejoice with others who are rejoicing.

And fourthly, cultivate the attitude of contentment. Be content with what you have per time. One thing that will never end in life is wants; as long as you are alive you will always want something. "I want this, I want that." But have you noticed that there are some things you wanted so badly but immediately you got them, the passion for that thing died and you begin to want something else. That is human nature. I often tell people that the wants and cravings of life are not always to be satisfied but to be controlled. And that is where the issue of contentment comes in. Contentment is the control valve for wants. If you lack contentment you cannot escape being offended either in people or in God. So, be contented. Whatever you have now is okay for now. What you don't have now is not needed for now! When it is needed it will come.

Meditate on these: 2 Cor. 10:12, 1 Tim 6:6

If You Believe It, Speak It!

Remember, having daily victories is a function of your faith. And faith is expressed through perspective, thoughts and words. So, it begins with what you see or how you view life in accordance with scriptures. And then the process continues, because what you see you think and what you think you will naturally say. “…For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” (Matt 12:34). Faith always speaks! Whatever you cannot say is what you do not truly believe. In 2 Corinthians 4:13 Apostle Paul said, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” What you say is the proof of your faith. And Mark 11:23 assures you that you shall have whatever you say.

When Moses sent 12 spices to the Promised Land, they returned and 10 of them said, “We be not able to take the land.” But two of them said, “Let us go up at once for we be well able to take the land. Our God will give them into our hand.” They all saw the same things in the Promised Land; the fruits, the milk and the giants. But because of different perspectives, they were saying different things and God said to Moses, “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” (Numbers 14:28). So, God does to you according to what you say in His ears. Whatever God hears you say is what His hand will perform for you. God’s hand will never perform for you greater things than what you are saying into His ears.

There are many things that happen to you and you are either blaming God or blaming the devil, but the truth is, it was your choice. You chose it by your speech.

The 12 spies went to the same place but while 10 were looking at the circumstances, the other two were looking at the possibilities. If all you can see around you is circumstances, you will continue to describe the circumstances, until it becomes inscribed on your mind and begin to manifest in your life. Beware! What you describe will soon be inscribed on your mind. Whatever is inscribed on your mind will soon find expression through your mouth. And when you say, it becomes established for you.

The 10 spies saw themselves as grasshoppers beside the giants and so they became intimidated. You can’t be looking at your opposition and not end up intimidated. The only way to escape intimidation is to see your God who is greater than your opposition. And then open your mouth wide to declare what your God will do for you. As you make your boast in the Lord, He will boost you till you overtake your oppositions.

Summary
God has set guidelines in place for husbands and wives to successfully operate the institution of marriage. Honor is a calculated decision to show attention, awareness and consideration for another person. Successful marriages are based on both spouses honoring each other on a consistent basis.

A There are ten things a husband can do to show appreciation for his wife.

1. He should open the door for her and let her go through the door first.
2. He should hold her hand when she walks up and down steps or gets out of a car. This demonstrates that a husband cares for his wife and that she is a precious treasure to him.
3. He should spend extra money on her rather than on himself.
4. He should regularly tell her how beautiful she is to him.
5. He should always speak honorably of her in front of their children.
6. He should take her to dinner or lunch and listen to her when she talks.
7. He should call her during the day to let her know he is thinking about her.
8. He should schedule time to spend with her.
9. He should write her love notes and poems.
10. He should always remember special dates such as her birthday and their wedding anniversary.


B. There are ten things a husband should never do to his wife.


1. Never put your wife down in front of others, jokingly or otherwise.
2. Never point out your wife’s weaknesses publicly.
3. Never tell your wife there isn’t enough money available to buy something she wants, and then buy something you want.
4. Never tell your wife that you don’t have time for her.
5. Never walk in front of your wife.
6. Never compare your wife to another woman.
7. Never make sexual innuendos about your wife in front of others, jokingly or otherwise.
8. Never lie to your wife or tell her a half-truth to cover your tracks; always be honest.
9. Never dishonor your wife in front of your children.
10. Never forget your wife’s birthday or your wedding anniversary.

Jesus Hold Me By The Hand......

"I wont let go (2ce),
Jesus hold me by the hand,

He has held me by the hand to subdue nations before me. He has held me by the hand to open before me the double doors so that the gates will not be shut.

Don't expect Him to hold you by the hand until you open up your heart to accept Him into your life. The choice is yours to make. I leave you with this,

"I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them (Deut 20 :19-20).”

Be Careful!

Why do most people derive joy in crticizing great men of God? Are they aware of the danger in it? I'm sure they don't because if they do, they would have zipped up their big mouth. I heard the story of a married woman who despised a man of God as he was dancing before God on the altar and she became barren for 18 years. The bible also states in 2 Sam 6: 16-23 how Michal, King David's wife died barren for despising him in her heart for dancing before his God. What a careless woman! Can you now see the danger in opposing God's anoited ones? I learned that some people were critizing the great man of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye for asking Pastor Ighodalo to step down from his position for marrying a second time while his former spouse is still alive.

Folks, be careful who you oppose! Be careful!

Korah, Dathan and Abiram were dealt with by God without mercy when they rose against Moses. They coveted earthly precedence and rebelled against Moses and were swallowed up by the earth (Numbers 26 :9-35) . Miriam became a leper when she opposed her brother (Numbers 12 :1-10). If God wouldn’t spare a blood relation then no one else is exempted. The bible says, “ Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm (Psalm 105:15)” Speak not against them, rebel not against them and don't condemn these people. Be careful what you say about God’s jewel. God will rise from His throne to defend the apple of His eyes. Be warned!

IN ZION I FIND REST!

I will be attending a "Breakthrough Night Vigil" service tonight. We'll be connecting to the mother church in Nigeria (Living Faith Church- Canaan Land) from Living Faith Church-Winners Chapel NJ).

God will move majestically in the midst of His people in Zion once again -It's going to be awesome!

I join the Psalmist to express how I feel about Zion;

" 1 How lovely is Your tabernacle,
O LORD of hosts!
2 My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,

SINGING:Key to Inspiration

1 Corinthians 14:14-15

Music is powerful because like prayer it has the ability to tune the human spirit to a frequency where it can receive revelation, ideas, impulses, impressions, visions, dreams and strategies from the spiritual world. It’s easier to remember musical notes than it is to remember mere words because the human mind has the capacity to interpret complex information passed through musical notes.

Also, music is one of the best ways to preserve information. Most of Moses’ messages were put in songs and that helped people remember.

Music gives inspiration and inspiration is the key to revelation. Revelation is a powerful resource

And to get the best out of God, we need revelation. In II Kings 3:9-17, it is recorded that at a particular time when Elisha needed revelation from God, he called in the musicians to put him on the frequency where he would hear from God.

Also in the book of Acts, Paul and Silas sang their way through the chains, fetters and doors. Music set David apart in the Bible, God simply loved him.

Our world is influenced by both positive and negative spiritual realities and the kind of music we listen to determines the kind of inspiration we get, influences the kind of revelation we get; therefore, we must be careful about our choices of the kind of music we listen to. Some music inspire lust and other devilish ideals.

Colossians 3:16 admonishes us to sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs which will not only edify us but also facilitate revelation from heaven. It is necessary that we sing in tongues also; this can be achieved by singing first with our understanding and then transferring the rhythm to tongues. With this form of singing we touch the supernatural. While doing this, let’s ensure that our minds are focused on God and the specific issues we need to capture. Applying the ideas we receive brings breakthroughs, making life easier.

Not every one is blessed with the ability to sing in public. Some of us sing like canaries and the rest of us croak like toads! Whichever category we fall into, let’s keep on singing and croaking!

“When we praise God, the earth shall yield its increase” psalm 67:5-7.

Word Foundation For Divine Visitation!

God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob” (Gen. 50:24). God’s visitation is guaranteed for every believer who has an expectation or hope of a better place than where he or she is presently. No matter the present situation, in your health, finances, career, socially or spiritually, God will surely visit you and take you to your desired place!

However, God has a pattern of visitation. And it is important for you to know how God visits His people so that you can keep provoking His visitation in your life from time to time. God’s visitation is not something you should encounter just once in a life time, it is designed to be a continuous experience.

How does God visit His people? Divine visitation draws on divine promises. God will only visit you on the basis of His promises that you know. Your depth of knowledge of His promises is what determines the level of God’s performance towards you. In Genesis 21:1 the Bible says, “And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.” So, the basis for God’s visitation is what God has said. If you don’t know what He has said, then don’t bother expecting His visitation.

The Lord visited Sarah as He had spoken and what was the proof of that visitation? “…Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him” (Genesis 21:2). Sarah was 90 years old and Abraham, an hundred years old, but God’s visitation terminated their age-long problem of bareness and it happened at the set time that God had spoken. Concerning that long standing problem in your family, God will visit and intervene for you, but you must know what He has said. Unless you know what God has said, you will be wasting your energy claiming that you are expecting Him to visit you. Only knowledgeable people will keep enjoying the visitation of God.

The cheapest way for the devil to keep a man in the dark and rob him of God’s visitation is to take away knowledge from him. Ignorance remains the tool of the oppressor. Ignorance! Your oppressor does not need to put chains on your hands and feet, all he has to do is to keep away knowledge from you. As long as you are ignorant, you will remain under his charge. But the day you become knowledgeable, you will become free from his chains.

Every believer who desires to enjoy God’s visitation must necessarily be acquainted with His promises. What has the Lord said? If you don’t have His promises, you can not experience His visitation because His promises are the reference points for His acts. They are the anchors for His performance. God will never perform beyond His word.

Meditate on these: Isaiah 43:26, Numbers 23:19

Power In Praying In Zion!

God has shamed the devil again! How wonderful it is to always have victory over the devil and his cohorts. Thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ.... (2 Cor 2:14).

I had to be in churh for the mid-week service yesterday but I almost missed the great opportunity if not for the strength of God. The devil wanted to attack me with sickness but I received my healing when I prayed in Zion, the house of God with Psalm 84:7, " They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion." Thank God for my sister whom the Holy Spirit gave the revelation of that verse of scripture and she told me to war with it for my healing. I give God the glory that I am hale and hearty because he has proved Himself faithful....Amen.

Zion, I will be there again today @ 7pm.

I'm Glad To Be An Addict!

God said this to me a few miniutes ago after engaging in a conversation with a collegue at work. " Never let it come out of your mouth that anything is too much for you. Do you know the daughter of Whom you are? You are the child of the Most High God. The possessor of heaven and earth. Do you know that as you say in my ears, I will do? The People of Israelites grumbled before me and what they said, I honored. Angels honor your words-whatever you say they perform. Talk to the mountain about Me, don’t talk to Me about the mountain. A word from you is enough to crumble the mountain. Utilize your authority! "

Wow! I couldn’t believe that an hopeless talk came out of my mouth. How did it happen? Hmm,,,, I don’t feel good about it. Who have I been talking to lately? What have I been listening to? Could it be the TV? I can't remember the last time I sat comfortably to watch it. Glory to God for the Holy Spirit who chastised me while I was alone in His presence. Now I feel good ...if it hadn’t been for the Holy Spirit, my Comforter, my words would have tied me down in the company of chickens when I should be soaring like an eagle-I’m of the eagles family (Isa 40:31). I'm seated with God in the heavenly places , far above principalities and powers of devil. I must be conscious of my status as the child of the King.

I'm sure you remember how God changed the status of Esther from an ordinary citizen to a Queen overnight. Do your remember the story of Joseph? Joseph also had an overnight transition. He was a Prisoner and the next moment he attained the position of a Govenor.

God Has Disappointed The Devil Again...

THE LIBERATION MANDATE VALIDATED


The nation of Liberia witnessed a spiritual tornado, as Bishop David Oyedepo, the apostle of faith invaded the city of Monrovia, Liberia from the 20th-22nd, July, 2009, with over 14,000 people giving their lives to Christ in a 2-day outreach and over 31,000 people jammed into a 20,000 capacity stadium. Among others a blind woman regained her sight while the praise and worship was going on. To God be all the glory.

However, the following outstanding testimony was captured in the National Chronicle of Friday July 24, 2009, a national Newspaper in Monrovia, Liberia.

“QUEEN OF SHEBA” FLEES LIBERIA - GOD ONCE MORE TRIUMPHS OVER SATAN The National Chronicle of Friday July 24, 2009 reports of the unceremonious departure of the “Queen of Sheba” from Liberia following the Empowerment Summit and crusade held by a known Nigerian Preacher, President and Founder of Winners’ Chapel International at the ATS and HQ of the church in Liberia.

“Queen of Sheba” is known as the infamous follower of Lucifer and has for the past 46years practiced deep and superior Satanism. The paper reported that the queen has been coroneted with blood on three different occasions in 1995, 2003 and 2007 when she was enthroned as matriarch of the sovereign imperial empress of a special cult called the African Nubian nation.

Her arrival at the invitation of certain groups and traditional leaders in Liberia had raised concern in some Christian quarters but it took the arrival of Bishop David Oyedepo and the thrilling crusade to send the queen of witches hurriedly scuttling out of Liberia. The Queen of Sheba’s visit was planned to last for an extended period of time but her sudden departure has raised eyebrows and left people wondering as to what must have hit her.

The Bishop made a declaration in one of the evening crusade “cast the devil out of Liberia for prosperity”, and the next day the so-called “Queen of Sheba” left the country without the fanfare that attended her arrival. She was lodging in the hotel where the Bishop was lodging in and immediately the Bishop step on the hotel ground, the “Queen of Sheba” immediately packed out of the hotel without the hotel authorities knowing, on her way to the airport.

Most leaders of the Pentecostal Movement in Liberia are full of praises to God for this triumph over Satan. Bishop Dortus Doe of the Deliverance Life Ministry Arena was one of the leaders of the Church in Liberia who could not hide his delight about the news of the departure of this blood-thirsty sorceress.

It is interesting that a late surge of crowd arrived at the ATS on the evening of Wednesday 22nd July 2009 to attend the empowerment summit not knowing that the programme ended Wednesday morning and there was no Evening Session that day. Thank God for victory over Satan once again. To God be all the glory!

"Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him. And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand..." (Judges 14:5-6). Samson was going on a journey when a lion roared at him. Rather then turn back, he killed the lion and continued his journey. At every instance of your journey in life, satan will attempt to scare you and make you turn back from getting to your goal. He will come roaring like a lion, wanting to intimidate you, but the Bible says in proverbs 22:13, "The slothful man saith, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets." That is what keeps some people rooted to one spot in life -- intimidation; the fear of the unknown. While their colleagues are aiming high and doing great exploits, they keep living at their mercy, begging for bread and water because they would not dare anything.

At another time, at Lehi, the philistines shouted against Samson, this time attempting to intimidate and weaken him. But the Spirit of the Lord came upon him and he slew one thousand of them with the fresh jaw bone of an ass. Maybe that is the same way people have been mocking and castigating you, all you need to prove them wrong is a heart of courage, a heart of confidence and boldness to pursue and possess all your possessions.

Look, you don't need one million naira to start building a house, what you need is courage. Maybe you have been trying to start a business and satan has been intimidating you, telling you that you can't make it except you get some huge capital. That is a lie! The first capital you need is courage; you need a heart that is determined to do it. Start from somewhere because as long as you remain waiting on that spot, you will keep wasting. Be courageous, start confronting your oppositions, move towards your fear and you will discover that what you fear can become meat for you.

When the lion roared against Samson, he didn't withdraw, he went against it and slew it. So, when issues of life threaten you, go against them. The spirit of courage is the spirit that dares what others don't move close to, it is the spirit of possibility, the spirit that makes things work irrespective of who or what is standing on the way. It is the spirit that despises the helps of men in order to ride on the wings of God's help.

When the lion came against Samson, he never call for help from his father or mother even though they were nearby, he killed the lion by the help of God. Look, if you don't have personal conflicts, you can never have personal testimonies. Stop hiding under relations and human connections, step out and face that lion that is roaring at you! For your information, the help of God is available only for those who take steps. It is only when you step out that you will discover you have what it takes to kill the lion that has been scaring and intimidating you.

It Requires A Push!

I bow my head to Him for the great opportunity He has given me to share His Word with you.

Nothing happens by accident but by a push. We came into the world by a push through a labor birth; we didn't jump down from heaven. Everything in heaven, earth and under the earth came into existence when God made a push-He released the Word. If you go through the book of Genesis Chaper 1, you will see, " God said...God said..." Until God said it, things were without form and void. If the Most High God had to make a push then we are not exempted. We all want testimonies, we all love victories and the good things of life but all these things will remain a mere wish until we make a push. How do I make a push? You make a push by releasing the Word. What is the Word? The Word is God. The bible says in John 1 : 1,

" In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Loose your blessing by His Word. That nagging situation is waiting to hear the Word from your mouth. If only you will release the Word, that unwanted circumstance will become a history. I'm sure you know that we have enemies-even new born babies do....Remember the birth of Jesus and how King Herod was after him? ( Matthew 2: 1-13) A friend of mine,an unbeliever who I have lost touch with said he doesn't have enemies. He said," I'm not after anyone, noone is after me. I just live my life for I have no enemies"...hmm, has he heard teh story of Jesus? What an empty barrell! There are people out there trying to stop your blessings, demons are out to hinder your testimonies-the devil is a wicked devil and he's out for you. You need to be ready for war at all times. In this end time, we can't afford to be lazy, we need to move just like King David. David said in Psalm 18:37-

" I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; Neither did I turn back again till
they were destroyed.

I have wounded them, So that they could not rise; they have fallen under my feet.

For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me
those who rose up against me.

You have also given me the necks of my enemies, So that I destroyed those who
hated me. "


Don't let go of the Word! When your forget the Word, your destiny is at stake. Haven't you heard that your must be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). If you lose out in this battle, you are to be blamed. I lost out some years ago and I blamed not a soul for my ignorance but myself. OH Goodness! The enemy tampered with my destiny based on my ignorance. I escaped like a bird from the snare of the fowler when my eyes were opened to see the deep things of God, I became addicted to God and His Word-In His Word I mediatate day and night. Children of God, If anything is wrong somewhere, don't question God, question yourself for God is forever faithful. 1Timothy 2:13 says,

"If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself."

We all can see that God is forever faithful:far be it from Him to do wickedness. If is is not good, it is not God. Heb 4:12 states, " For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

Halleluyah to God in the highest! He has given you the Word to war with, the ball is in your court.

Unbelievable!

It's very hard to comprehend why evil resides in the hearts of Human beings. They laugh with you this moment but they have plans to kill you the next minute-this is abnormal! Most of the time, people rejoice over the failure rathern that the success of others -this is highly abnormal! I've always known that a thing of such exists but up until now, it hadn't crossed my mind until I heard the story of Jim who had plans to kill his mother...yes, his own biological mother.The devil is a wicked devil and he has deposited his DNA in the hearts of sinners. Jim, a squatter, left his house to present his mother who is a Spirit-filled Christian with a white clothing material. Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit:it was revealed that the clothing was meant for his mother's burial. The Word of God has prevailed. Please go with me to the book of Isa 54:15;

"Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather
together against thee shall fall for thy sake."

Glory to God for His faithfulness. He has disappointed the kingdom of darkness for the sake of the Saint, the mother of Jim

The bible says that there shall be no mercy for the wicked (Psalm 59:5). If a man could sit back and plan the death of his mother through diabolical means, I'm sure you will agree with me that such a man must be dealt with by God.

Our Dedication Is Speaking...

God has done it again! He has suprised my family yet again:I give Him thanks and praise for His marvellous works.

I'm yet to see a man of faith who has been left stranded by God. The woman with the issue of blood was delivered (Mat 9:20-22), blind Bartimaeus' sight was restored (Mark 10:46-52), Jesus healed Palsy in Capernaum (Mark 2:1-5) and many more scenerios in the Bible. Nothing moves God but faith.

I thank God that my family's faith in His divine restoration manifested in our lives. When my sister and I heard the testimony of what God has done in our family, we couldn't help but bow our faces down to God to celebrate His faithfullness. My Parents are Spirit-filled Christians-they both said something about my sister and I that made my spirit jump for joy. My father said, " There is noone who seeks God like you and your sister that won't encounter miracles." My Mother said, " God has answered your prayers-God always answer your (my sister and I) prayers and this testimony that we have is just the beginning-it shows that all our prayer requests has been fulfilled."

What can I say but glorify Him. In early July, my sister and I did something differently. We started interceding mightly for the Kingdom of God, the saints in the Vineyard, the ministers of God, the harvest of Soul for Christ, total deliverance and divine protection for God's people. We denied ourselves of things we were used to while fasting and prayer-we became addicted to God and His vineyard. The bible says in Matthew 6:33,

" But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things
shall be added to you."

The miracle we've just encountered in my family had long been waited for. We refused to give up. We knew that if God won't do it, it would remain undone.

Miracles don't just happen, they are made to happen. Until you do what you have never done before, you won't see what you have never seen before. Seeing the impossible come to pass is miracle,

Many more miracles on the way because we'll keep being hot in Christ (Rev 3:16-16; .

Indeed, He Is faithful!

"Can't nobody do me like Jesus,
Can't nobody do me like Him,
Can't nobody do me like Jesus,
He is my strength."

Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit(I guard my relationship with Him jealously).Sometimes last week during fasting and prayer, God told me not to think of the things of old:I thanked God for the revelation but kept on joking with it. Yesterday, God took me to Isa 43: 18-19 ,

" Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.
Behold,I will do a new thing,Now it shall spring forth;Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert."

Immediately, God dropped into my heart what He had told me last week about not thinking of the things of old. This morning while speaking in tongues and getting prepared to step out, He reminded me again. Then it got done on me that God has a reason for speaking to me about that matter.I've always joked around with the decision I had made for leaving Egypt(All by His grace) but God doesn't want that. He wants me to think of where I am right now and where He's taking me to. Now, my focus is on the Promise Land just like Joshua and Caleb had their eyes fixed on that 'Milk and Honey' Land....Halleluyah!

In Addition, glory to God in the highest for His undying love for me and my family. Words can't express how much I appreciate God for taking my family from Egypt to our Promise Land. Our souls has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers,the snare is broken, and we have escaped. This is the summary of the Yemi Ijalana's family...Praise God!

Courtship 102

When did it become God's will to marry a lazy man? A man who brags about getting his daily bread from the Landlord's daughter. A man who derives joy in owing his house rent (he appreciates God for using his Landlord's daughter). Jimmy is not searching for a job but wont stop saying," God will do it for me someday." I find it very difficult to understand this way of life. What has really surprised me is the foolishness that's been exhibited by Tonia who is getting ready to marry this lazy man. Tonia saw fire and is getting ready to enter into it. Hoping that she'll quench the furnace fire while in it. What a pity!

At creation, we saw God as a worker. Jesus came, we saw Him as a worker too. Abraham came, and at 75 years of age, we still saw him working. Isaac and Jacob also came, and we saw them as workers. Now, who are you going to resemble, going about idling? Idleness is a self-inflicted curse.

There is no future for the idle in the kingdom. I'm sure you all know what the bible says about a lazy man. II Thes 3:18 says,

"For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work,
neither shall he eat."


If a lazy man must not eat, then who says a lazy man must get married? I don't get it. Yet Tonia said that this lazy bone is God's choice. Proverb 10 : 4 states,

" He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich."

I can see the reason behind Jimmy's poverty-laziness. The sciptures cannot be broken. It's high time we stopped deceiving ourselves with "God said this, God said that".The dreams and visions most people have can't be find in the scripture. If it's from God, examples will be located in the bible. The Word of God is God's will. We must desist from lying to ourselves. Children of God, please stop nonsense!

If the dreams/visions is not according to His Word, then it's not from God.

Brethen, please know the mind of God concerning a relationship before getting into one. There is danger in marrying the wrong person.

Vision Is Powerful!

A life without a vision will end up in a pit but when a vision is unraveled, the throne is inevitable.

A genuine vision comes from God. It takes discovering His plan and purpose for your life to emerge a star. Vision don't come by wishing thinking but by seeking His face.

Nehemiah was a man of vision. He was in great sadness when he heard that the walls of Jerusalem was broken down and its gates were burned down with fire, he decided to rebuild it ( Neh 2:4). Men of vision are destinies rebuilder. No matter how dead a situation is, it will take a vision from God to resurrect it. Many will mock and ridicule you when you are preparing for the God-given vision but it takes confronting "the Sanballats and the Tobiahs" with a Lion-heart in God to fulfil destiny. Nehemiah said,

" So I answered them, and said to them, " The God of heaven Himself will prosper us
and therefore, we His servants will arise and build...Neh 2:20"

It's time for the god in us to start manifesting (Psalm 82:6). It may interest you know that no devil have the right to stop you from fulfilling destiny. When you are in pursuit of your vision, oppostions will arise, problems will come up-circumstance will try to discourage you. Don't be afraid! Let the book of Isa 54:15 be your focus-It says;

" Behold, they shall surely they gather together, but not be Me; whoever shall gather
together aginst thee shall fall for they sake."


The God who has given you that vision will surely see your through. The fulfillment of a vision requires hardwork. Until you are violent in the spirit, your vision will not come to pass. Nehemiah prayed earnestly against Sanballat and Tobiah when they despised his vision for the rebuilt of the walls of Jerusalem ( Neh 4: 1-23). Friends, let's stop overlooking things that are rising against God's plan in our lives-attack them violently in the spirit:turn into a ferocious Lion (Matthew 11:12). Nehemiah didn't relent in strenght until the walls of Jerusalem was completely built ( Neh 6: 1-19) Don't relax for your adversary, the devil is always on the move. Hear what the bible says in 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
Only those who thirst for God's vision for their lives, will rise as saviours in their generation

Courage For Conquest! By Bishop David Abioye

In Romans 8:37 the Bible says, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Take note of the phrase, “through Christ.” That means, without Christ we will remain continually in crises. Christianity is nothing but enjoying the finished works of Christ. Our conquest is guaranteed only when we are rooted in Christ. But to enjoy conquests in the conflicts of life, you need the spirit of courage, the spirit that refuses to be intimidated by oppositions.

There are two prefixes that are used to qualify the word ‘courage’, one is discouragement and the other is encouragement. However, it is your attitude that determines the side to which you belong. If you have a negative perspective to life, you will naturally become discouraged. The word ‘discourage’ simply means reduced courage. On the other hand, if you have a positive perspective to life, you will become encouraged, and the word ‘encourage’ means enhanced or increased courage.

How do you build up your courage? It is by looking at your situation from the perspective of scriptures; refusing to be intimidated by your circumstances. Courage is the factor that enables you to withstand the enemy. Isaiah 59:19 says, “…When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Courage is the spirit that sets up a standard against the enemy.


How do you build up your courage? It is by looking at your situation from the perspective of scriptures; refusing to be intimidated by your circumstances. Courage is the factor that enables you to withstand the enemy. Isaiah 59:19 says, “…When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Courage is the spirit that sets up a standard against the enemy.

Oppositions and battles of life are meant to serve as triggers to God’s anointing in you. The best of God’s anointing is displayed when you are confronted. David said in Psalm 68:1, “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered.” So, God does not arise until the enemy appears. You don’t invite a man to battle when there is no challenge from the opposition. But the best of God always appears when the worst enemy appears.

Look at the story of Samson in Judges 14:1-6. He was going with his parents for a marriage ceremony, not hurting or abusing anybody, but suddenly, at the vine yard of Timnah, a young lion roared against him. In the same way there are many innocent Christians, who love everybody and are always doing good, yet satan is attacking them. You don’t have to be in sin before satan attacks you. The reason you are confronted with battles is not because you are no longer in tune or in line with God, as a matter of fact, many of the battles that come your way are clear indications that you are on the path of destiny. Satan doesn’t want you to get there so he is attacking you. When the young lion roared at Samson what happened? “…The Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him (the lion) as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand…” (Judges 14:6). So, the reason God allows challenges and oppositions to come our way is so that His Spirit in us can be stirred up and instigated to go against the enemy, in order to establish our conquest. It is pressure from without that stirs up the man from within, it stirs up the spirit of courage, which makes you unstoppable.

Meditate on these: Deuteronomy 20:1-4, 1 Samuel 11:1-11

His Mercy Endures Forever!

"I'm forever grateful to You,
and I'm forever grateful for the cross,
and i'm forever grateful to You,
that You came to seek and save the lost."

Glory to God in the highest for His unfailing love and mercy forever more (Psalm 107:1) I thank God for giving me the understanding and the ability to grasp this song that was taught by my sister, God bless her heart!

I'm forever grateful to God for His mercy over my life. He moves me to tears at all times-words and actions cannot express how much I appreciate God for the gift of salvation. I join the Psalmist to declare, "Let them sacrifice of thanksgiving. And declare His works with rejoicing...(107:22)"

If It hadn't been for His mercy, what would have become of me? If you and I can think deeply of what He has done, stilling doing and many more that shall be done-we all will exalt Him deeply (Phil 4:6).

Folks, God is doing a new thing in my life; now it springs forth and I can perceive it. My God has made a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Courtship 101

I give God the glory for giving me the grace to bring His Word to you all. I pray that the message in this write-up minister to you like it did to me.
Jane and Jason were in a relationship. Jane, a devout Christian succored to dating Jason after he chased her for close to two years. Their relationship started and soon Jane realized she had made a wrong choice. Jason was into club hopping full time: he drank regularly. Hanging out with drug pushers and club hoppers was his way of life. Spending lavishly was the order of the day for him. Jane couldn’t tolerate these vices. Each time she warned him, he’d brush it off. He never respected her opinions but she continued staying with him. They fought and argued every single day but she thought he’d eventually change. He was irresponsible. He neglected going to church. He saw all ministers as thieves. Jane on the other hand back-slided, because as the scripture says, "can two walk together except they agree (Amos 3:3)?” She didn't join him in going to bars but she sure engaged in constant fighting, lying etc. Her prayer life weakened. Her self esteem went down the drain. She didn’t want him to leave anytime he threatened to go. She tolerated him having female friends over and whenever these friends are in town, he will forbid her from coming to his house. She kept announcing to the whole world she would marry him despite his dirty way of life. What a pity!

We all can see how foolish, unintelligent and dense Jane was. Let it not surprise you that a majority of ladies are in the same situation. You will hear them say, “I know that he’ll change once we get married.” This is a lie from the pit of hell. Jane saw fire ahead but decided to get into it, hoping that she’ll quench it once she gets there. What is she? A super fire fighter!

Courtship is the period whereby partners get to know each other deeply and intimately. Please note that the intimacy I’m referring to has nothing to do with sex-that is forbidden (Hebrews 13:4). If your partner possesses some habit that you know are dangerous, warn him or her of it. Bring to his or her attention the danger in pursuing such habit. If he or she refuses, run for your dear life. Don’t act like Jane who chose to stay-take to your heels.

The Trumpet Is Sounding!

One of the verses of scripture that caught my attention last week was Proverbs 21:21- I got stuck to it. I actually love the way the New International Version bible put it;

" Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor."

Until living in righteousness becomes your way of life, you wont see divine blessing. A majority of us want to enjoy Abraham's kind of blessings but we don't want to do what he did. Abraham was on fire for God(Genesis 15:6)-he was called the friend of God ( 2 Chronicles 20:7, Isa 41:8, James 2:23). Joseph refused to indulge in the sin of fornication because he feared God (Gen 39: 7-9). Joseph's righteousness took him from the Prison and set him on the throne (Gen 41: 37-56). Daniel's mission was to please God. He refused to bow to any other god but the Most High God. Circumstance could not stop him from adoring God (Dan 6:4-27). Those who seek after God will be sought by men. Whatever you do to Him, He does back to you. No wonder 1 Sam 2:30 says,

" .......Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed."

Prioritize God and He will take care of what concerns you. It is your heart beat for God that will change your story and not your own ability. I can remember vividly when I was pursuing different things. I thought my effort would bring me results but I was disappointed. Until I followed what was written in Matthew 6:33, " But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you." I didn't have a testimony.

Brothers and Sisters, all those things you are chasing after is in God. If you are too proud to seek after His kingdom, you won't become a benefactor of His blessings. Let go of your sins and your life will take a perfect shape. That lying habit will take you no where but bring His anger against you. Here are some verses to ponder on;

"You shall destroy those who speaks falsehood.. Psalm 5:6"

" Lying lips are an abominable to the Lord... Proverbs 12:22"

" But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers,
idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone,
which is second death.. Rev 21:8"

There is sorrow and reproach in sin. Judas Iscariot betrayed God and he paid with his life. You can ask yourself this question, 'How have I betrayed you Lord? In lying, stealing, idolatry, deceit, fornication, adultery, trust in mortal man, anger, hatred, forgery, envy , jealousy (Gal 5:19-21)? Don't be defensive ! Don't say," God knows my heart. People around be can attest to my faith in God." This issue is not between you and man but it is between you and your Maker. It is time to take the great step-the next minute may be too late. God is ready for you today. Allow God to take the 1st place and your story will shock the whole world. There is no god like my Jehovah.

I love this verse of scripture;

" The wise shall inherit glory, But shame shall be the legacy of fools....Proverbs 3:35"

This verse explains the secret behind the glory of King Solomon, the glory of King David and that of Joseph, the Governor (Genesis 42:6). All these great men were men of wisdom. I can also see what foolishness did to King Nebuchadnezzar-his pride turned him into an animal for 7 years (Daniel 4:29-33), King Pharoah who refused to let the people of God leave Egypt died in the red sea ( Psalm 136:15, Exo 14:26-28), Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God inherited Naaman's leprosy ( 2 Kings 5: 20-27). Foolishness is a destiny mocker. Get wisdom and you will break forth like the dawn.

Truth!

You can't love God and not be loved by all. You can't honor God and not be honored. Whatever you do to Him shall be done to you. 1 Sam 2:30 states,

".......But now the LORD says: ‘Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and
those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed. "

Shake Loose!

Until the shackles on your feet are broken, you will not ascend the throne. The shackles on your feet will remain intact until God intervenes. If you don't move God by your actions, He won't intervene. God was moved by Joseph's dedication. Right in the Prison, God broke the shackles on Joseph's feet and he ascended the throne the next moment. God intervened in the lives of Paul and Silas when He heard their prayers and songs of praise unto Him. Mere wishes won't break loose the shackles on your feet-you must be violent in the spirit. Matthew 11:12 states,

" And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and
the violent take it by force. "

David became the centre of attraction when he engaged in a violent confidence and trust in God. The people of Israelites were delivered from the shackles on their feet when David brought Goliath down by the help of God ( 1 Samuel 17: 45-51). The 4th man (God) broke the shackles on the feet of the 3 Hebrew boys in the furnace fire because of their faith and trust in Him (Daniel 3:25). They said to the king in Daniel 3: 16-18,

" O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our
God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver
us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve
serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

The faith of the 3 Hebrew boys moved God to step in. You've cried and wail for too long but there has been no changes. Stagnation has held you hostage for too long-you are overdue for a change. Let God in and that shackle of shame and reproach, lack and wants, sicknesses and diseases, delays and barrenness will be broken forever.

Knowledge Is The Key!

Knowledge is the key to triumph. Until you seek it out, you will die in captivity. A person who is devoid of knowledge will die in shame and reproach. No wonder God's Word says in Hosea 4: 6,

" My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge......"

Lack of knowledge is a destiny killer. Until the prodigal son realized who he was, he was eating like an animal. When he returned home, he regained his position in his father's house (Luke 15:11-32). God is waiting for you and I to realize who we are in Him ( 1 Peter 1:18-19,Matthew 5:13-14 ) . We are the children of the Most High King, we are not to feed like dogs ( Mark 7:27). We are the children of the King we are entitled to royal treatments (Ephesians 2 : 9-7). Those who have the knowledge of their worth in Christ will be celebrated in the world.

There Is Power In His Word!

The Word of God is fire. When you release the Word of God, it breaks barriers and impossibilities. Word carriers are fire carriers. Who can touch a man of the Word? That problem is waiting for the Word to be released. Speak out the Word with faith and that pyramid of problems will crumble. I'll leave you with this verse of scripture,

" For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing
even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart....Hebs 4:12"
